Friday evening, we had our last meeting to finalize the texts we had meditated, asked, cradled in our hearts. As the Word is alive again last night, it warmed our hearts and reveal more to us.
When "the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden" (Genesis 2, 15), it's me He takes and He sets in my garden of Eden. So what is special about it my garden ... It is inside ... it is secret ... Yes, but it is also outside. I was set up in a family with its wealth and its flaws, I have roots in the community with its culture, its traditions, its habits, its historical mischief, etc.. And it is this "garden" I am called to cultivate and keep. How to do ...
My eyes on each other will help me to sow, plant, grow ... "If my eye is simple, my whole body will be bright, but if my eye is bad, my whole body be full of darkness" (Mt 6, 22-23) ... and all my vis-à-vis human beings will light ... or beings of darkness ... always in my eyes ... However, thanks to the magnificent gift that everyone has the freedom, I will make choices, and I tell my YES and NO to my Father's will.
With the breath within us, "we do not know where it comes from or where it goes" (Jn 3, 8) we enracinons in the garden entrusted to our care We build relationships of solidarity and we learn to make choices more freely.
